Compounds of formula (I), wherein: X is O or S, HET is an optionally substituted 6-membered heteroaryl ring containing 1 or 2 N, and Q is a substituted aryl or heteroaryl. The compounds are used in the manufacture of a medicament for providing an antibacterial effect in an animal.
