<p>Subject of the invention is the procedure and device, boiler with a two-zone fireplace, incinerating biomass and/or other types of solid fuel, which can be combined with liquid and/or gas fuel in the fireplace. The fuel is gasified in the water-cooled primary (combustion) zone of the fireplace, while the gases keep travelling to the hot secondary zone (zone of subsequent combustion), where they are combusted completely. Then the gases travel to the boiler, where they pass on their energy thus cooling down. In this process/device the losses due to radiation into the environment are reduced and the efficiency rate is increased. The shape of the fireplace is adapted to the necessary reaction time (1.5 - 2 s) in the high-temperature zone, which is a condition for effective incineration. This way low CO and TOC emissions are generated. By reducing NOx the recuperated exhaust gases keep returning to the place of secondary air intake.</p> |
