PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time signaling timepiece capable of signaling surely to a user. SOLUTION: This timepiece is provided with an operation panel 111 for inputting schedule data including scheduled time data, a ringing stop switch 114, CdS 115 for detecting the brightness state, a clocking part 12, a display part 13, a sounding part 14, a preservation memory 17, and a CPU 18 including a schedule image generation part 181 for generating a schedule image corresponding to the schedule data, a confirmation data generation part 182 for generating confirmation data including confirmation time data on a confirmation time for signaling at a desired preceding time before the scheduled time corresponding to the schedule data, a confirmation image generation part 183 for generating a confirmation image corresponding to the confirmation data, a background image generation part 184, a time image generation part 185, a synthesis part 186, a brightness adjusting part 187, and a display control part 188 for displaying the confirmation image at the confirmation time corresponding to the confirmation time data on the display part 13 and displaying the schedule image at the scheduled time corresponding to the scheduled time data on the display part 13.
