PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for covering a cut surface, a filling surface or the like with wood chips. SOLUTION: Covered-layer fixing means such as an iron reinforcing bar wound with a barbed wire, an anchor pin or the like is arranged on a covered surface, and the fixing means is coated with a mixture of a weatherproof adhesive and the wood chips in such a thickness that the fixing means is buried in the mixture, and then the mixture is hardened so as to provide an agglomerated layer of the wood chips over the covered surface.
