<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly select a desired network apparatus when a controller (network apparatus controller) controls network apparatuses in a network system to which a plurality of network apparatuses are connected. <P>SOLUTION: The network apparatus is provided with a setting means for a color for distinguishing an apparatus (hereafter called as COLOR) and a color display means, collects COLOR data set to other network apparatuses, and displays a color different from a COLOR of other network apparatus connected to the network as its own COLOR and informs the user about it. Further, the network apparatus controller is provided with a COLOR management means and a color conversion means, collects the COLOR data set to the network apparatus and displays icons or the like of the network apparatus in a corresponding COLOR data. Thus, the user can distinguish respective network apparatus in the set COLOR. Moreover, the user can quickly select a desired apparatus on the basis of the color. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
