<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device, a storage medium and an information processing system, capable of confirming the information relating to the storage medium which is used with itself fitted in the electronic device, without mounting the storage medium on the electronic device. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic camera 100 transmits the electromagnetic wave from an electromagnetic wave transmitting part to a memory card 77, the memory card 77 generates the power by electromagnetic inducing action of the electromagnetic wave transmitted from the electronic camera 100, and the information relating to the memory card 77 is transmitted to the electronic camera 100 on the basis of the supply of the power.
