<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow molded product which has an appropriate shrinkage at its mouth stopper portion, and is hard to cause a residual foreign favor and an offensive odor when used as a liquid container, a sheet product, and an oriented film. <P>SOLUTION: A polyester composition comprises chips of a polyester whose main repeating unit is ethylene terephthalate and 1-5,000 ppm fines of a polyester having the same composition as the above polyester chips, the above polyester containing specified amounts of at least one metallic compound to be selected from a magnesium compound, a calcium compound, a cobalt compound, a manganese compound, and a zinc compound; a phosphorus compound; and an antimony compound, respectively, and the above fines of the polyester having a melt peak temperature on the highest temperature side of the melting peak temperatures, measured by DSC, of ≤265°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
