PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive and excellent photoreceptor and an excellent image in a short working time without regulating the surface roughness Rmax of a conductive supporting body to be small even in the case of forming the image by radiating coherent light or the like to an electrophotographic photoreceptor. SOLUTION: As for the electrophotographic photoreceptor constituted by applying at least an under coating layer and a photoreceptive layer to the conductive supporting body, the supporting body is obtained by performing blast processing or grinding processing on a non-cutting tube, and its surface roughness is 2.0 to 5.0μm as Rmax and 0.1 to 0.5μm as Ra.
