PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of accurately condensing steam without requiring any cooling fluid. SOLUTION: A steam receiver part 2 is provided above a sealed container 1 and communicated with the sealed container 1 by a pipe passage 7. Loop type thin pipe heat pipes 3 are provided inside and outside the steam receiver part 2. Inner parts of the steam receiver parts 2 of the heat pipes 3 are provided as heat accumulation parts 11 and outer parts are provided as heat radiating parts 12. The steam receiver part 2 and inside of the container 1 are connected by a fluid discharging pipe 12. The steam generated in the container 1 moves from a pipe passage 7 to the steam receiver part 2 and is condensed by heat exchange with the loop type thin pipe heat pipes 3.
