Broadly, the present invention relates to maize having increased oil and increased protein and amino acids, increased total phosphorous bioavailability and decreased phytic acid. This maize can be used as feedstuffs for animals. More particularly, this invention relates to maize based feed that provide improved animal nutrition, and reduces the environmental impact of animal production.
