<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of spats easily used and effectively protecting all of the areas for which protection is required, by solving such problems that a conventional muscle-protective means, such as a corset, an athletic supporter, and taping, is stiff and heavy, merely protects a part of the muscles, and requires technical knowledge when used, although the conventional means is used for preventing injuries of the muscles in the hips and legs of athletes and inhibiting aggravation of the injuries caused by taking exercise while leaving the injured muscles as they are. <P>SOLUTION: This pair of the spats is structured so that areas 101, 102, 103 are each formed out of a raw fabric of which the tightening force is especially stronger than the other parts.
