<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to efficiently carry out a wire connecting operation in a wire connecting device for an electric connector. <P>SOLUTION: This wire connecting device 1 for the electric connector has a connector arrangement part 20 to move the connector back and forth, and right to left, an electric wire alignment part 30 to make wires line up at random, a wire identification part 41 to correctively identify color and thickness of wires arranged at the wire alignment part 30, a connecting part 39 having a stuffer to connect wires with the connector, and a control part 44 to discriminate the colors and thickness of the wires and carry out the control of stepping motors 10, 14. The control part 44 discriminates the correspondence between the wires arranged randomly at the wire alignment part 30 and a contact of the connector, and further controls the stepping motors 10, 14 so that the wires and the contact are lined up against the stuffer 38. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
