PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the structure of an electronic device which can be assembled efficiently, using a low-cost printed board. SOLUTION: A crystal oscillator 14 of one embodiment of an electronic component mounts a crystal vibrator 3, and the electronic component 4 for an oscillation circuit at an appropriate location, on the printed board 15 through soldering by a means, such as reflow. Then, a cream solder 17 is coated on the earth pad 16 provided on the surface of the board 15, a conductive adhesive 18 is coated on the upper surface of the vibrator 3, and a U-shaped metal cap 19 is mounted by an automatic unit. Then, after the adhesive 18 is cured and fixed to the upper surface of the vibrator 3, an end 20 of the cap 19 is fixed to the pad 16, by using the cream solder 17 in a reflow step.
