PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode that excels in chemical resistance and precludes trouble by migration of silver as a PDP electrode, and is suitable for high quality and high definition image display. SOLUTION: An electrode 13 formed first is shaped to a thinner film thickness at a connection portion to an electrode 14 formed subsequently.
