The invention relates to a pacifier comprising: a deformable nipple (2); a flange (3) forming a sensor that collects body temperature calories and the nasal exhalation flow; means of fixing the nipple to the flange, thereby forming a forward-projecting part (4) with or without a ring handle; and means (6) of measuring and displaying the temperature which can be read from the front face (3a) of the flange and which comprise heat-sensitive elements that are disposed in at least one blind cavity (7) of said flange. According to the invention, the blind cavity or cavities (7) which house the heat-sensitive elements are disposed above the horizontal mid-plane of the projecting part (4) in the area forming the upper part of the flange (3) when the pacifier is in the mouth and said projecting part (4) is shaped and dimensioned in order to divert the nasal inhalation flow so that it does not travel over the measuring and display means (6c, 6d).
