The invention relates to a device for determining the interlinking of phases in the low voltage networks. According to the invention, the device is made up of an open, E-shaped magnetic core (1) having thereon a three-phase winding, comprising three coils (2a, 2b and 2c) in star connection. The three-phase winding is connected to the terminals of the testing installation and is meant for creating a spinning magnetic field. The magnetic core (1) allows for placing between its towers an opaque circular tube (3), made of plastic material filled with a ferrofluid (4). Inside the tube, there is a strain gauge (5), fixed at one end and free at the other, having the possibility of imodifying its electrical resistance, by bending one way or other, depending on the direction of the ferrofluid, the modifying of the resistance, determining the disequilibrium of a resistance bridge (R1, R2, R3, M) bound, by means of an amplification and comparison unit (AO and R4) to an indicating module which contains two LEDs (LED 1 and LED 2) which signal the direct or reversed sense of the interlinking of phases.
