PURPOSE: A system for eliminating impurities such as waste, grit and sand from rain runoff is provided to secure water sources. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a rain runoff pipe(2) installed in vertical direction, a rain runoff tray(1) provided at the top of the pipe(2), a rain runoff storage tank(3) connected to a lower end of the pipe(2) and having a buoy, a rain runoff tank(31) being connected to the rain runoff pipe(2) via a rain runoff inlet pipe(11), comprised of a sedimentation tank(32) and a storage tank(33) and located underground, a fine filter(9) installed at an inlet portion of the sedimentation tank(32), a vortex prevention baffle(15) vertically installed near the filter(9), a sediment suction pipe(27) installed at a lower portion of the sedimentation tank(32) and the storage tank(33), a sediment discharging pipe(28) for discharging sediment in the sedimentation tank(32) and the storage tank(33) via the sediment suction pipe(27), a water transfer pipe(17) through which water is transferred from the sedimentation tank(32) to the storage tank(33), a diffuser installed in the storage tank(33) for diffusing air into the storage tank(33), and a treated water discharge pump(29) and a pipe(30) for pumping out the treated water in the storage tank(33).
