The invention relates to a fuel dispensing station and to a process for carrying out the same. The fuel dispensing station comprises a foundation module (12) consisting of a underground fuel tank (18), with double-walled compartments (32, 34 and 36), on said tank there being located a channel for conduits (20), wherein there are located the fuel dispensing conduits (50) and the fuel supply conduits (42) which are connected to each compartment of the tank (18). On the tank end walls (62) some pillars (66) are welded and connected at their upper end to some upper poles (28) supporting a canopy element (26). The upper poles (28) are connected to the mentioned pillars (66) by means of a restraint device (70) consisting of two plane plates (84) intercoupled by means of some threaded cylindrical rods (88) secured by screws (92, 94 and 96) and reinforced by the pillars (66) and the upper poles, respectively, by means of some welded gussets (86). The plate couple restrains the upper poles (28) and makes the canopy horizontal. |
