Each front wheel (3) has a solid tire, a rim, spokes (315) and a hub (312) holding an axle (32). The axle fits into a bearing assembly (6), with a spring-loaded swivel with a vertical axis (5) and a toothed wheel forming part of a braking mechanism (7). The swivel axis on each front wheel is in front of the bearing axis, and is mounted on the end of a crossbeam (4).
