The loudspeaker enclosure has housing (5) containing at least one mid-range loudspeaker (1) and at least one tweeter loudspeaker (2), positioned coaxially in front of the mid-range loudspeaker. A damping mat (3) is positioned in the plane of the tweeter in front of the entire diaphragm (8) of the mid-range loudspeaker, and is provided with a star-shaped cut-out for reception of the tweeter unit.
