<p>When a medium data amount contained in a medium reception buffer (209) exceeds a threshold value, the medium reception buffer (209) outputs a corresponding signal to a radio control unit (205). Upon reception of the signal indicating that the medium data amount exceeds the threshold value from the medium reception buffer (209), the radio control unit (205) instructs an initial buffering condition decision unit (207) to lower the data reception speed. A medium reception speed decision unit (208) decides a medium unique speed and outputs it to the initial buffering condition decision unit (207). According to the medium unique speed input from the medium reception speed decision unit (208), the initial buffering condition decision unit (207) decides the time speed of buffering. Thus, before starting data reproduction, it is possible to reduce the time required for storing data in storage means and to reduce the time required from the data transmission request to the server to the data reproduction.</p> |
