A paint container (110) includes a top (130), a bottom (120), and at least one side wall (126). A handle (116) is pivotally attached to the body proximate the top. A recess (146) is disposed in the handle proximate the top of the container when the handle is in a rest position. The handle includes an indentation to receive a hook for supporting the container. The handle also includes a pair of tabs (190) that are received in recesses in the bottom for positive location and secure stacking.
