The baked article with a cavity which is accessible on one side and serves for accommodation of foodstffs comprises a baking crust which covers both the cavity and outer surfaces of the article. Alternatively the article is provided with an inner sealing layer which prevents soaking of the article by the foodstoff held in its cavity.
