The saddle shaped pad (7) has the back-plate of the instrument housing (5) fastened to it and has a curvature chosen to fit on the frame tube (1) for the handlebars (3). The saddle-shaped pad has a D-shaped lug (9) on either side which accommodates a rubber band (8) under tension. The instrument housing accommodates a computer (6) for keeping track of speeds, journey times etc.
