An electrophotographic photoconductor with a photoconductive substrate has a photo-sensitive layer containing (A) a metal phthalocyanine compound as main component (at 1 mol.) and (B) a phthalocyanine compound with a hydrogen central atom as a minor component (at 1 micromol.-200 mmol). An Independent claim is also included for production of the photoconductor by coating the substrate with a liquid containing the 2 phthalocyanine components.
