1. The use of 5,6-dihydroxy-2-methylaminotetralin, or 5,6-diisobutyroyl-oxy-2-methyl-aminotetralin, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof in combination with an angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor for the preparation of a medicament for treating left ventricular dysfunction or remodeling. 2. The use according to claim 1 wherein said left ventricular remodeling is a consequence of myocardial infarction. 3. The use according to claim 1 wherein the angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor is delapril. 4. The use of 5,6-dihydroxy-2-methylaminotetralin, 5,6-diisobutyroyl-oxy-2-methyl-aminotetralin, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, for the preparation of a medicament for the reducing of left ventricular remodeling, particularly congestive heart failure.
