<p>The object of this invention is to provide propeller and rudder for vessels, which are arranged in parallel with each other to form a parallel propeller and rudder arrangement, thus reducing water resistance acting on the hull of a vessel, resulting in enhanced propulsion performance of the vessel, and increasing the ratio of a water-plane area to an entire length of the vessel, resulting in enhanced vessel design potential in terms of steering performance of the vessel. In order to accomplish the parallel propeller and rudder arrangement, at least one screw propeller (2) is mounted at the stern of a vessel such that a waterline of the vessel is extended, and at least two rudders (1) are movably mounted at the stern of the vessel such that the rudders (1) are arranged at port and starboard sides of the screw propeller (2).</p> |
