The invention relates to an anti-HIV composition and to the production metho d thereof. The inventive composition comprises a polyanion and a molecule capable of inducing exposure of the CD4I epitope of the viral protein gp120. The polyanion can be selected, for example, from the group comprising hepari n, heparan sulphate and a polyanion that is equivalent to heparin or heparan sulphate. The molecule capable of inducing exposure of the CD4I epitope of t he viral protein gp120 is a CD4 peptide or a derivative of same. The invention also relates to the use of said composition for the production of a medicament, such as a medicament intended for the treatment of AIDS.
