PURPOSE: A floating and emergency communication apparatus of a vehicle is provided to minimize accidents by preventing sinking of the vehicle with operating an air bag in detecting sinking, and to protect the life and property by detecting the position of the vehicle accurately with automatically outputting the emergency signal at the accident or theft. CONSTITUTION: A floating apparatus for a vehicle is composed of plural sinking detecting sensors(1) installed in the vehicle to detect the sinking state of the vehicle with electrical signals; a control unit(2) generating an output signal to an air bag driving unit(3) in detecting the sinking detecting signal; the air bag driving unit operating an air bag(4) corresponding to the output signal from the control unit; and plural air bags installed in the vehicle and operated corresponding to the output signal from the air bag driving unit in sinking the vehicle to form buoyancy for floating the vehicle on the water. The sinking detecting sensor has a container having an inclined plane, a sensing unit generating the electric signal to the control unit in flowing water in, and a lid flowing water into the clearance in sinking the container. An emergency switch(6) is installed between a key switch and an input terminal of the control unit, and an emergency signal generator(7) is installed in the output terminal of the control unit to output the emergency signal.
