PURPOSE: An organic solvent collecting device for a laundry is provided to prevent air pollution by restricting discharge of organic solvent with mounting the collecting device in a drying machine, and to cut down maintenance cost by recycling the used organic solvent. CONSTITUTION: An organic solvent collecting device is composed of a selection damper unit(7) drying the laundry for dry cleaning or washing selectively; a cooling evaporation unit(8) maximizing cooling efficiency of a freezer compressor(15); a cyclone dust collecting unit(13) using gravity and centrifugal force; a steam nozzle part(10) preventing the static electricity of the laundry and doubling the gravity and the centrifugal force; and a solvent and water separating unit(18) separating water and oil from the condensed and recycled organic solvent. Waste heat from the organic solvent collecting device is transferred into an intake port of a drying machine through a duct to prevent discharge of the organic solvent. |
