The invention concerns a sealing system for a rotary shaft (1) in a pressurized fluid circuit, comprising a sealing ring (4) arranged between the rotary shaft (1) and a fixed cage (5) including a deformable element (13) pressing it tightly on said shaft. The deformable element (13) is made of a shape-memory material sensitive to temperature, namely a temperature increase. The invention is applicable to tyre inflating circuits.
