PURPOSE: A structure for fixing a defroster grill of an automobile is provided to prevent a pad layer of a mounting part of an instrument panel from falling off. CONSTITUTION: A structure comprises an instrument panel(1) comprising a pad(2) placed on an outside of a body thereof, a core part(3) forming an inside thereof, and foamed material(4) placed between the pad and the core part, and having a mounting part(5) formed on one side thereof to be stepped; a defroster grill(10) inserted to the mounting part of the instrument panel so that a fixing protrusion formed on an upper outside of a body thereof is mounted on the mounting part, and having a plurality of diaphragms and a boss part(15) with a coupling groove formed on an inside of the body; and a reinforcement bracket(30) coupled to the coupling groove of the boss part by a fixing unit(20), and having a body both of whose ends are supported by the core part of the instrument panel. The fixing protrusion is attached to the pad of the instrument panel to prevent deformation of the pad as the reinforcement bracket and the defroster grill are coupled by the fixing unit.
