<p>A machining power supply of wire electric discharge machine, comprising a discharge state judging circuit (6) for judging the inter-electrode state between a work (W) and at least two wire electrodes (E) including short circuit and normal discharge, and an inter-electrode current waveform control means for supplying triangular wave and trapezoidal wave currents between the electrodes while switching. Depending on the inter-electrode state judged by the discharge state judging circuit (6), the inter-electrode current waveform control means supplies a triangular wave current (I) if the inter-electrode state is short circuit (Y1), and supplies a trapezoidal wave current (I) if the inter-electrode state is normal discharge (Y3). Disconnection of the wire electrode (E) can be avoided while enhancing the machining speed.</p> |
