The device is assembled of a rigid rectangular sheet (1) carrying a cloth or sponge, and a stick shaped handle (6). The sheet (1) is attached to a trapezoidal bearing block (2) with two vertical lateral extensions with openings for the insertion of the outer ends of a transversal rotation axle (3). When the cloth or sponge is guided across the pane the lower surface is always kept in a perfect cleaning position. A locking element assembled of a ball (7) and a spring (9) can be engaged with a recess (8) at the sleeve (4) in order to fix the sheet (1) in a predetermined angle.
