<p>The socket has a base part (1,3) which has a contact (4) for cooperation with the central contact (5) of the lamp base, and a contact (7) for cooperation with the contact of the socket sleeve (8,9). The socket sleeve is fastened e.g. screwed to the base part and has a contact for cooperation with the lamp base. The sleeve (2) has two stages which concentrically carry contacts (8) for a normal bulb and a mignon bulb. The smaller diameter stage (B) is below that larger diameter stage (A) and is about half as high as the sleeve. The contact for cooperation with the central contact of the lamp base is about half as high as the sleeve. The sleeve has an additional contact (9) connected to the contact on the first stage (A) for standard bulbs.</p> |
