An assembly determines the mixture ratio of two mixed fluids by measuring the different electrical capacitance of each in a single container. The assembly has a base plate (8) with two protruding electrodes (10, 7). The first electrode (10) is an axially-extended hollow body with sidewall apertures (11). The second electrode is located inside the first, from which it is separated by a gap (18). The first electrode (10) is fixed to and electrically connected with the base plate (8). The second electrode (7) extends through a hole (9) in the base plate through a sleeve (6) to a secondary base plate (3) with an electrical terminal (16). The sleeve extends upwards through the hole (9) into the gap (18) between the base of two electrodes. The base plate (8) has a seal (2). A further seal (1) is located between the sleeve (6) and second electrode (7). Separation between the upper ends of the two electrodes is maintained by an electrically-insulating bush (5). The assembly especially measures the mixture ratio of methanol and water.
