TNFa PRODUCTION INHIBITORS

摘要

There is provided a medicinal composition containing aminomethanesulfonic acid (including that in a form of salt or ester) as an active ingredient. Since it has an excellent effect of inhibiting the production of TNF alpha as compared with glycine which has been proposed already, the composition is expected as a drug for liver diseases. There are also provided a use of the above-mentioned active ingredient for drugs, a method for inhibiting the production of TNF alpha and, particularly, a method of treatment, amelioration and/or prevention of liver diseases utilizing the above method.
