The space saving high sleeper (1) is attached to the wall of the bedroom in order to prevent the construction (1) from being toppled over by the heavy weight of the water-filled mattress when a person enters the sleeping platform. The pre-assembled bed frame and an additional support element (3) are joined to the vertical posts (2) by guiding the securing bolts through plates positioned at the outer side of the posts (2). The rungs of the ladder (5) also have a stabilizing effect.
