The guide system has two guide rails (12,14) on opposing housing walls, two rollers (16,18) running in each and mounted on the container (20) and on a carrier (22), on which the container is adjustable in height, on opposite sides. The container and the carrier have at least two opposing fitting surfaces (34,38) whose mutual separation (S) provides play independent of the height adjustment.
