The device has a casing base in which is attached an igniter protruding into the interior and at least one electronic unit inside the cartridge. The igniter has a base part joined to the cartridge base and an ignition tube extending along the cartridge axis. An annular electronic installation space enclosing the longitudinal axis of the cartridge is provided in the igniter base part or a region connecting it to the igniter tube. The device has a casing base (1) in which is attached a propulsive charge igniter (2) protruding into the cartridge's interior and at least one electronic unit (9) inside the cartridge. The igniter has a base part (3) joined to the cartridge base and an ignition tube (5) extending along the cartridge axis. An annular electronic installation space (7) annularly enclosing the longitudinal axis (4) of the cartridge is provided in the igniter base part or a region connecting it to the igniter tube.
