FAT-COVERED INSOLUBLE INORGANIC PARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fat-covered insoluble inorganic particle, the surface charge condition of which can freely be adjusted. SOLUTION: This fat-covered insoluble inorganic particle is obtained by covering the surface of an insoluble inorganic particle with (a) a first film layer and further covering the first layer with (b) a second film layer. The first film layer comprises an organometallic compound having at least one alkoxy group bonded to a metal atom and an aminoalkyl group which has two outward-oriented medium to long-chain alkyl groups bonded to each other through a linking group and is bonded to the metal atom. The second film layer comprises an amphipathic molecule having two medium to long-chain fatty acid residues or medium to long-chain alkyl groups and a hydrophilic group oriented outward.
