PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refuse collecting vehicle eliminating conventional riding on a rear step without degrading working efficiency, and improving safety of workers during driving. SOLUTION: This refuse collecting vehicle comprising a driver's cab 1 placed in the front, a refuse collection box 2 placed in the roughly central part, and a refuse throwing box placed behind the refuse collection box, is basically equipped with a space between the driver's cab 1 and the refuse collection box 2, from which refuse collecting workers can get in and out, or an ingress/ egress box 11 from which refuse collecting workers can get in and out and in which refuse collecting workers ride while the vehicle is running. A safety bar 12 opening and closing vertically is installed on both right and left side portions inside the ingress/egress box 11 and a vertically folable seat 13 is installed near the right and left sides.
