<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological data measuring apparatus capable of computing a blood pressure value without performing preliminary measurement with a cuff. <P>SOLUTION: This biological data measuring apparatus is composed of a pulse wave measuring apparatus 20 provided with a photoelectric sensor 26 for detecting the blood stream of a subject 5 as photoelectric volume pulse wave; a data processing means 10 for performing arithmetic processing; and a monitor 30 for displaying the computed result of the data processing means 10. The data processing means 10 is provided with a memory region 13 where bloodstream conversion data and a plurality of reference data are written. Both data are data (absolute values) actually measured by a virtual human body model 40 and related to the photoelectric volume pulse wave of the photoelectric sensor 26. The data processing means 10 can thereby compute the blood pressure value of the subject 5 on the basis of the photoelectric volume pulse wave of the subject 5 and the data written in the memory region 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
