<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide luminous color separation printed matter having gradation corresponding to that of a photographic print, high quality design effect, high brightness and long afterglow by performing color separation printing only by a luminous pigment ink layer. <P>SOLUTION: High brightness type luminous pigment ink 14 is printed on and applied to one surface 12A of the printing substrate 12 of the luminous color separation printed matter 10 in a dot-like state by screen printing to form a luminous pigment ink layer 16 on one surface 12A of the printing substrate 12. The luminous pigment ink 14 is prepared by kneading a luminous pigment 24 with a vehicle 22.
