PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve through put and to prevent the diffusion of malodor or fermentation odor by removing water produced in a treatment vessel and supplying oxygen in the garbage treatment by microorganisms. SOLUTION: At least a part of a garbage housing vessel is formed from a porous material and is provided with a heater for heating the porous material directly or indirectly. The water in the garbage housing vessel is transpired by forming at least a part of the garbage housing vessel from the porous material and heating the porous material directly or indirectly.
