PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of being commonly used for a right handle vehicle and a left handle vehicle. SOLUTION: When comparing the air conditioner 5 mounted on the right or left handle vehicle of the same platform respectively, a position relationship of an internal air introduction port 15 and an external air introduction port 16 against an intake part 14 is reversed in right and left in the width direction of the vehicle. Since the external air introduction port 16 is connected to a stationary vehicle side ventilation port 35, the air conditioner 5 is moved by a distance approximately equal to a width of the external air introduction port 16 when comparing the cases where it is mounted on the right or left handle vehicle respectively. The external air introduction port duct 18 can be mounted reversely at right or left against the intake part 14. If the external air introduction port duct 18 is only mounted reversely at right or left, even in case where the air conditioner is mounted on any of the right or left handle vehicle, the same air conditioner 5 can be installed so as to be offset to the passenger seat side without changing the main structure.
