PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood grain board manufactured by using a natural fiber and a thermoplastic resin fiber as raw materials, and a technology which is effective for stably forming a wood grain pattern on a board molded article using this wood grain board. SOLUTION: The board molded article 100 used for a door trim and the like of an automobile comprises a wood grain board layer with a wood grain pattern and a kenaf board layer. The board molded article 100 is formed by laminating alternately a wood grain board 14 formed by a cotton mixing processing (S10), a combing processing (S12) and a heat press and cooling processing (S14) and a kenaf mat 20 formed by a cotton mixing processing (S20) and performing a primary molding processing (S30) and a secondary molding processing (S40). In the combing processing (S12), a sliver 10 is combed through a comb-like member to arrange fiber orientation of the kenaf fibers. It is thereby possible to form a fine straight grain pattern on the wood grain board 14 after the heat press and cooling processing (S14). COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
