<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method of a shoe with a foamed midsole, which accurately forms a fine pattern on an exterior surface of a peripheral wall of an outsole, even if the shape of a peripheral wall for masking the peripheral wall of the outsole, especially its midsole, does not correspond to much of the shape of an interior wall of a die, when the foamed midsole is molded in a shoe structure. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes a process for disposing a flexible cover sheet 33 so that the cover sheet is extended between an interior surface of a flange 30a of the outsole 30 and an exterior surface of the peripheral wall 31a of an upper 31 to form an effective cavity, a process for putting the resultant combination of the outsole, the upper, and the cover sheet after the process for disposing the flexible cover sheet so that the outsole is placed on a lower die 35, the upper closely surrounds a last 34a of an upper die 34, and the cover sheet faces side dies 36, while the cavity is formed by assembling a die 38, and a process for molding the midsole by filling a foaming material in the effective cavity, curing and expanding the foaming material, and bonding the outsole to the upper in the effective cavity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
