PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile which is hardly pulled out and is hardly pushed since a film for covering a tunnel greenhouse is fixed by tying strings to the film, the strings are tied to piles and when a strong wind blows, the film is flapped and the piles are pulled out or adversely pressed. SOLUTION: The pile 100 comprises a bar-like main body part 110 having the tip made into an insert part 112, a string tying part 120 which is arranged at the top of the main body part 110 so as to intersect with the main body part and a nipping piece 130 which is arranged in parallel with the main body part 110 with a gap 140 between. When the pile 100 is driven in, the pipe 31 of the tunnel greenhouse is nipped in the gap 140. A string for pressing the film is tied to a string tying ring 121 at the tip of the string tying part 120. When tension is applied to the string by the strong wind, the main body part 110 is made to rotate but is not rotated since the pipe 31 is introduced into the gap 140.
