PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine valve easily binding a shaft part and a bevel part and widely reducing the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: A shaft part 2 and a bevel part 3 are formed separately, and an engaging hole 5 in the upper center of the bevel part 3 is made and an engaging shaft part 2a, which has an annular groove 4 around the circumferential surface, for engaging the engaging hole 5 at the lower edge part of the shaft part 2 is also made, and after engaging the engaging shaft part 2a to the engaging hole 5, the surrounding wall 8 of the engaging hole 5 is pressed from the outside to the axial center direction and plastically deformed toward the annular groove 4 for combining the shaft part 2 and the bevel part 3.
